The basic Rolfing series consists of ten sessions.
A Rolfer starts by evaluating a client’s structure and movement patterns. Then the Rolfer sensitively applies just the right amount of pressure to the areas of the body where the fascia is restricted. The combination of applied pressure and synchronized movement of the patient; frees, repositions and realigns the area and the body’s segments.
Each Rolfing session builds upon the results of the previous one, so that the results are cumulative. The whole body is worked since all of our body’s parts are interrelated and a problem in one part on the body will affect all other parts of the body as well. Each session lasts 60 minutes.
